 With over 90 years of dedicated service to the Marshall, Texas community and its surrounding areas, the Nu Omega Chapter proudly upholds a rich leadership and community engagement legacy. We focus on implementing civic-minded projects that reflect the five core tenets of our mission. The Nu Omega Chapter is proudly “Soaring to Greater Heights of Service and Sisterhood” under the leadership of our International President and CEO, Ms. Danette Anthony Reed. The current administration’s theme for 2022-2026 emphasizes six key initiatives.

1. Foundation Initiative: This initiative encourages us to strengthen our sisterhood and deepen our bonds to support our service mission.

The remaining five initiatives are designed to empower our community in various ways:

• Empowering Families: Fostering strong family units to build resilience and support networks.
• Building Economic Wealth: Promoting financial literacy and economic development within our communities.
• Enhancing Our Environment: Advocating for sustainable practices to protect and improve our natural surroundings.
• Advocating for Social Justice: Engaging in efforts to promote equity and justice for all individuals.
• Uplifting Our Local Community: Implementing programs and projects that directly benefit and enhance the lives of those in our community.

Together, these initiatives reflect our commitment to service and sisterhood as we strive to make a positive impact.
